We are now in Tasmania (27 februari 2011)

We have arrived yesterday with the “Spirit of Tasmania II” in Devonport after a 10 hour sail on a calm sea. Unfortunately we had to dump our spare diesel before setting sail (so to speak). We went through the quarantine check ok and went to a campsite in Devonport. We needed to complete our bunk bed in our car as we did not have sufficient time before we departed.

Now we are almost ready to depart to our first destination: Narawntapu National Park. There should be wombats and forrest kangaroos. First we need to get some more supplies… and fuel up again.
